By now you should have been issued with large clear sacks to put paper and card in and that these are also to be used for mixed plastics. You can now recycle almost all types of plastic.
What you cannot put in the plastics bag are type 6 (PS) (ie polystyrene) and hard plastic eg toothbrushes, disposable razors, CD's.DVD's including cases, children's toys, motor oil bottles and sweet wrappers.
What you cannot put in the bag for paper are waxed cardboard cartons eg Tetra packs - see below and carboard lined with plastic or foil eg tubes of crisps, paper plates and take away lids.
